A feared gang leader is released on parole after seven years in prison. Has Map Jacobs changed or is he still a violent criminal? A family and community drama set against the backdrop of forced removals of communities to the Cape Flats. The film offers a glimpse into the lives and loves of the dispossessed, and their desperate yearning for a better life in a system that always fails the vulnerable.

The screening is followed by a Q&A session aimed at grade 12 learners preparing for the matric exams.
