A young couple are stranded on the side of the road after a party when their driver has to urgently return home. After hours in the freezing cold, they look for shelter in a deserted wood. Oswald, a loner, offers the girl shelter for the night. He believes that she is fated to be his. So begins a titanic battle between the men for the possession of the girl. Estonian author Jaan Tätte creates a magical fairy tale about the limits of love, and the betrayal, violence or cost it may require.
