The Baroque practices of affect, rhetoric, allegory and symbolism are demonstrated in this programme. The Cape Town Baroque Trio perform works by Corelli, Biber, Telemann, and Vivaldi, as well as showcasing an innovative new composition for Baroque instruments by Antoni Schonken.
