A battle-of-the-bands–style competition for musicians making alternative music in Afrikaans. The competition is open to musicians working in any genre, as long as the music has an alternative sensibility. The RUK EN RYM show at the Daisy Jones Bar is the second semi-final of the competition, and the finalists of RUK EN RYM 2024 will be announced at the end of the event.
