What do we know about the history of food? Dr. Amy Rommelspacher (NGK Archives) accounts how Senior Fine Art students created new works in response to their archival encounters with food and history. Students worked through the collections of two NGK missionaries to understand how food was experienced and procured in the late 1800s in Southern and Central Africa. Food related to these writings and the students’ art will be served.
