What's on Woordfees TV?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The festival TV programme will encompass most of the genres that would usually be part of this popular annual Stellenbosch festival. That includes the the Easy Equity books and writers festival, drama, contemporary music with the Toyota Big Five concerts and Standard Bank jazz set, classical music, the Savanna stand-up comedy series, the Stellenbosch Wine Routes lifestyle programme, Media24 discussion series, Strauss & Co visual arts programme and dance. The Standard Bank agriculture series will also be part of this year\u2019s line-up.<\/span> Repeats of some of the most popular 2021 TV festival programmes will be broadcast in non-primetime slots. New programmes specially produced for 2022, will be available on DStv Catch Up.<\/span><\/p>

The programme content and broadcast times for Woordfees TV will be made available in the media on 21 June 2022. <\/p>

In collaboration with the Words Open Worlds (WOW) Project, the festival programme will also include educational elements and a spelling competition. <\/p>

Woordfees TV is available from 15 to 28 July only on DStv channel 150 and on GOtv channel 27 in Namibia. <\/p>

All South African DStv viewers with a Premium, Compact Plus, Compact or Family subscription will have access to the channel and won’t have to pay any additional fee. In Namibia, however, Woordfees TV will not be available on the Family bouquet.
