style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> hoor. Dis \u2019n dokumentasie van hierdie geslag vroue se ervarings in hulle eie woorde wat aan die gehoor oorgedra word deur middel van opnames, gesprekke en fisieke teater. Vrae so alledaags of ernstig soos: \u201cWat is die eerste ding wat jy doen as jy by die huis kom? Wanneer het jy daarvan bewus geword dat jy \u2019n vrou is ? Watter vrou in jou lewe het die grootste invloed in jou lewe gehad?\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die antwoorde van hierdie onderhoude is vervleg in \u2019n produksie wat deur die geselskap geskryf is met Mich\u00e9 C. van Wyk, Kayla van der Merwe, Bella-Donna Draper en Christie van Niekerk. Van Niekerk het die regie behartig en Van der Merwe die choreografie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNog \u2019n stuk oor gender issues?\u201d, vra jy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ja en nee. Natuurlik gaan dit oor geslag, want vroue se opvattings oor hulleself en ervarings word eerlik aan ons voorgehou. Maar dit gaan oor meer as dit. Dis \u2019n stuk wat ons dwing om te luister na \u2019n spesifieke geslag vroue se opvattings oor hulleself en hulle menswees.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Van der Merwe nooi die gehoor aan die begin van die stuk om saam te luister. Dit onderbreek die sterk emosionele band wat gesmee en spanning wat opgebou is. Dit kan dalk eerder aan die begin gedoen word.<\/p><p>Aan die einde van die produksie het ek bly sit om weer te luister na die opnames van die vroue wat praat. Ek was verbaas om te sien die produksie was 40 minute lank. Vir my het dit hopeloos te kort gevoel en ek is gelaat met \u2019n gevoel dat ek meer wou sien en luister. Ek het gewag. Waarvoor? Dalk die punch van die punch line?<\/p><p>Die geselskap het sterk spelers met veral Van Niekerk en Van Wyk wat be\u00efndruk. Van der Merwe se choreografie is kreatief en kragtig.<\/p><p>Dis die lekker ding van Fringe \u2013 jy sien jong talent wat dit nog ver gaan bring. Jy sien die toekoms. Hierdie stuk het hope potensiaal as hulle dit verder wou ontwikkel. Hulle moet die spanning hou, laat opbou en dan moet jy die gehoor in die maag slaan. Ons is vroue. Ons kan dit mos vat, s\u00ea hulle.<\/p><p>Aan die geselskap: Slaan terug met julle woorde en julle stories.
