The annual Toyota US Woordfees Art Auction, in collaboration with Strauss & Co, will take place on October 12<\/strong> at the Stellenbosch Town Hall.<\/p>\n

Artworks available for bidding this year will be on display at the Town Hall prior to the auction. These include works by both well-known and emerging artists, catering to a variety of tastes. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe works on display are incredibly diverse, but as a whole the exhibition sparks joy. It\u2019s a real visual tonic. So, the show ties in well with the fizz and effervescence in the festival theme \u2013 Bubble. It\u2019s a refreshing experience in a world where art tends be so serious and sombre,\u201d says the curator, <\/span><\/span>Teresa Lizamore<\/b>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Out of the 180 works on display, approximately 90 will be auctioned.<\/p>\n

Join us on October 12<\/strong> from 18:00<\/strong> to take part in the excitement of the auction. Prospective buyers will also have the option to bid online or by phone. Strauss & Co will make available an online catalog featuring the works for sale. Keep an eye on our social media and website for further details. <\/p>\n

All works will be on display in the town hall throughout the duration of the festival. Guided tours will be offered on October 10, 11, and 12 at 10:00. The tours <\/span>will last approximately 50 minutes and is free of charge.<\/span><\/p>\n
