Skuins voor my sit twee vroue en drie seuns. Ek skat die seuns so tussen 8 en 10. Elkeen het \u2019n pet op die kop en ek wonder hoekom hulle hier is. Dalk saamgesleep saam met die ma\u2019s? <\/p>

Iewers in die uur lange Maze of the Mind<\/em> hou ek hulle vir \u2019n oomblik dop. Die drietjies is vasgenael. Dit lyk of hulle vergeet het om asem te haal. Wat gaan deur hulle koppe, wonder ek. Is hierdie vir hulle soos om \u2019n lewendigeaksie-rekenaarspeletjie dop te hou? Het hulle verbeelding met hulle op loop gegaan? Een ding is seker: As hulle ma\u2019s hulle \u2019n volgende keer gaan vra of hulle \u2019n dansproduksie wil gaan kyk, gaan die antwoord sonder twyfel ja wees. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As hulle ma\u2019s hulle \u2019n volgende keer gaan vra of hulle \u2019n dansproduksie wil gaan kyk, gaan die antwoord sonder twyfel ja wees.<\/span><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Ek het sommer al in die eerste tien minute van hierdie fenomenale produksie na my asem gesnak. Dalk was dit \u2019n snik wat wou uitkom, want die sewe dansers en die gebruik van die ses blokke so groot soos enkelmatrasse het emosies in my wakker gemaak en my weer eens verstom gelaat het oor die talent van Figure of 8. <\/p>

Grant van Ster is die regisseur van Maze of the Mind<\/em> en die uitstekende klankontwerp (goeiste aarde!) is deur Shaun Oelf, wat ook een van die dansers is. Die ander dansers is Damian Jacobs, Liam Frantz, Jenna Wilkinson, Sasha Nkonyana en Thalia Alberts, elkeen \u2019n ster in eie reg. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Dit is te laat om Maze of the Mind<\/em> by die Woordfees te sien, maar as jy ooit die kans kry om enigiets van hierdie talentvolle geselskap te sien, hardloop kaartjieskantoor toe! Figure of 8 was die laaste tyd verantwoordelik vir onder meer die bekroonde Karatara<\/g> asook Die een wat bly<\/g>, wat sedert verlede jaar \u2019n treffer is op elke fees waar dit op die planke was. Die een wat bly<\/g> is van 28 Oktober tot 1 November by die Baxter-teater in Kaapstad te sien. Moenie dit misloop nie. <\/p>

Aan elkeen wat deel is van Figure of 8: Welgedaan! Mag daar nog vele, vele produksies kom. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
