J.R. and his wife, Maria, are on their way to the Cape by ship to establish a refreshment station. Blussing-Fermaak, a stowaway on the ship, threatens to hijack the mission and take the ship to the Congo to trade in slaves from there, or perhaps open a grocery chain. Theatregoers can prepare themselves for a drama in which everything is not always as it seems. The play was nominated for nine KKNK Kanna awards, among other for best theatre production, best ensemble, best literary contribution and best producer. Brendon Daniels won the Kanna for best actor in a supporting role.
