A surreal and startling drama about human striving, temptation and uncontrollable ambition. Driven by an unrelenting hunger to fill an inner void with meaning, a 21st century Dr Faustus makes a deal with Mephisto and pursues a path of expansion, innovation, and control: dabbling in the economies of the Global South, orchestrating war games, and reaching for mastery over nature, society, and even distant planets. Based on the second part of Goethe\u2019s masterpiece. This work returns to South Africa after a highly successful world tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
