At the Velddraf you are more than just a number: participants jog or walk with a unique Afrikaans word from the <em>Woordeboek van die Afrikaanse Taal<\/em> (<em>WAT<\/em>)__as their race number. Everyone is welcome \u2013 from \u201cdoekvoet\u201d to \u201cdonderweer\u201d and \u201cblitsig\u201d to \u201cbaanbreker\u201d!
