Poets Louis Esterhuizen (Klaarte) and Marlise Joubert (Atrium)’s work can, among other things, be read as a years-long love dialogue between two word-artists who delve deeply into the experience of enduring love. Amanda Marais talks to Louis and Marlise about their latest collections – Marlise’s anthology Atrium, which brings together poems from across her entire career, and Louis’s twelfth collection Klaarte, which has received high praise from critics.
