Miracle Tree

Miracle Tree | Isihlahla Sezimanga is a multilingual choral music production celebrating the beauty of South Africa’s poetry and languages. This programme of original works composed by award-winning composer Franco Prinsloo and performed by Voices+ under the direction of conductor Sizwe Modlane draws inspiration from Bongekile Mbanjwa’s poem “Ishishalala Sezimanga”. The music reminds us of the value of our indigenous languages ​​– their stories and meaning grow like leaves on branches, bringing hope, love and joy. A celebration of poetry and our shared linguistic heritage.
