Great poets never truly die. Their words live on as the fertile ground in which the next generation’s poems take root and grow. Their poems remain alive in the hearts, mouths and bodies of all who hear, read and speak their words. In this reading, living poets celebrate the poetry of their departed predecessors and enter into conversation with the great spirits now at rest.
