With Alan Committie, Charl-Johan Lingenfelder

An Iliad brings Homer’s legendary tale crashing into the present. In this stage work, a storyteller (Poet) and a live musician (Muse) summon the Trojan War in real time, asking: why do we keep telling this story; why do we keep living it? Forget the polite, distant epic. An Iliad is immediate, human, darkly funny, brutal and tender. You don’t need to know Homer. You don’t need to love epics. Just be human.
