The Da Cape’O String Quartet presents an exciting programme celebrating the rich and diverse sound world of Latin American composers. The quartet is joined by the acclaimed guitarist Nina Fourie-Gouws, whose artistry brings an added dimension to the collaboration between strings and guitar. Expect works by Heitor Villa-Lobos (Brazil), Manuel Ponce (Mexico) and Astor Piazzolla (Argentina) and others, each showcasing the rhythmic vitality, lyricism and expressive depth characteristic of Latin American classical music.
