Visit the studio of our festival artist, Daniel Naudé. This is where the works were created that form part of Still Life, the exhibition currently on display at the SU Museum. While Daniel’s previous projects took him out into the wide world to photograph the insects, for Still Life he built diorama sets and photographed them under controlled conditions using highly advanced camera equipment. Each of the giant photographs is stitched together from thousands of close-up shots taken with a camera mounted on a track. During the studio visit, he will share insigts into how the process was undertaken.
