Zonia Scheffer obtained her honors degree in Fine Arts from the University of Pretoria. In 1998, two years after completing her degree, she received a merit award at the Sasol New Signatures competition. Since then, she has held six solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. Her unique style combines everyday objects in unexpected ways, giving the paintings a dreamlike quality that captivates the eye.
