Bach to Bolling

Inspired by the great cellist YoYo Ma, Claud Bolling created a unique Suite for Cello and Jazz Piano Trio. South Africa’s most illustrious cellist, Peter Martens joins forces with the Charl du Plessis Trio to bring this infectiously catchy composition to Stellenbosch. Bolling’s suite will be preceded by Bach’s second suite for solo cello, this time in a special arrangement featuring a beautifully subtle accompaniment for jazz piano trio.
