The cream of young Cape musicians have been selected for this chamber concert. They play Beethoven’s Triple Concerto as a chamber arrangement by Carl Reinecke – with violin, cello and two pianos. This is followed by Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet. Both works are great favourites among lovers of classical music. Salon Music has been a popular part of the classical music scene in South Africa for thirty years, pioneering everything from chamber music to salon opera.

Met: Pieter Joubert, Nicholas Bruiners (viool), Mikhaila Porter, Christoff Joubert (klavier), Chris Njapha (tjello), Remi Ludik (altviool), David Cyster (klarinet)
