Elsabe Marais, a widow in her 80s, and her three elderly friends embark on a hilarious road trip across the Karoo to experience a meteor shower in Sutherland. They have three days to get there, but to reach their destination in time, they will have to evade and outwit Elsabe’s overprotective son, who is hot on their heels.
