The Moederkerk in Stellenbosch is pleased to participate in the Woordfees with two special services. To align with the Woordfees theme, “Sharing”, the overarching theme of the services is “participation”.

12 OCT: Partake 1

One body, many parts. In a world of division, polarization and suspicion, the church distributes communion signs… (1 Cor 1). This is a special communion service with alternating Scripture passages, choral and congregational singing. The Cape Town Camerata conducted by Leon Starker participates in the praise and worship at this service.

19 OCT: Partake 2

We are invited to a life of sharing as we share in the suffering, death and resurrection of Christ. To share in the life of Christ (who came to share Himself with us) and thus become “partakers” in his world… (1 Cor 15). The Stellenbosch Madrigal Singers and friends led by Elsje Kemp will join our worship.
