After a family tragedy, Albert attempts to guide his son, Allie, into manhood at the request of his overbearing and traditional father, Eugene. Albert and Allie embark on a series of hunting trips, all while Eugene’s influence looms over them. In the process Allie starts to harden into someone Albert no longer recognises, leading him to question the values he’s spent his whole life practicing.
