In the silence of the Moederkerk, sound emerges from breath and strings. In this musical pilgrimage from Von Bingens’ medieval mysticism to Du Toit’s modern sound poetry voices and music intertwine, and like fynbos renewed through fire, the music testifies to the resilience of our communities – renewing and unifying, sanctifying and healing, penetrating. A fire of the spirit!
