Boys and men are struggling in education, family life and the labour market. They seem to lack ontological security, a stable social anchor that tells them a positive story about who they are or who they should strive to become. The “manosphere” fills this void by offering boys and men misogynistic narratives that blame women and feminism for their struggles.
