Our Bodies Remember

Our Bodies Remember is a double-bill featuring two distinct works created by Jazzart Dance Theatre’s 2026 Artists in Residence, Lihle Mfene and Chesney Stanfield. The choreography fuses Afro-urban and contemporary dance, blending fluid yet controlled movement with expressive depth, rooted in the rhythms of both African and Western cultural influences. The Jazzart Dancers are renowned for their energy, passion and exceptional performances.
