Briewe wat stories vertel
According to Dr Lisel Joubert archival research is mostly about what finds you, rather than what you are looking for. The voices captured in personal letters, journals and mission newsletters invite you to hear their stories. Using pioneer missionary Martha Murray’s letters (1890s-1910), Dr Joubert (Faculty of Theology) discusses the principles of “life writing”. Voice artist Cecile Murray-Louw reads from Martha’s letters. View examples of the historical letters and photos after the presentation. Traditional coffee and milk tart for sale.
