The internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning The Moon Looks Delicious From Here is a theatrical tour de force, rich in heart-stopping drama and pathos in which themes of identity, heritage, and sexuality are explored through the eyes of a first-generation South African. Playwright Aldo Brincat is that first-generation South African of Mauritian, Egyptian and Maltese heritage. Born in mid-60’s South Africa, Aldo, along with his family, find their maturing years playing out against the tightening grip and eventual collapse of apartheid.
