Gioioso Piano Quartet: Hofmeyr, Mozart & Schumann

This concert features the world premiere of Hendrik Hofmeyr’s new Piano Quartet, written at the request of cellist Peter Martens. Hofmeyr’s new work will be flanked by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s much-loved Piano Quartet in G minor, K. 478, and Robert Schumann’s Romantic masterpiece, the Piano Quartet in E-flat major, Op. 47.
