Twenty + One

Celebrating 21 years of the Stellenbosch Atelier in Jamestown, this exhibition, curated by Vivian van der Merwe and Fiona Metcalfe, is presented in the historic Rhenish Church Hall. The exhibition brings together selected works including a retrospective element, tracing the Atelier’s evolution alongside new pieces that demonstrate its ongoing creative energy. In a cultural landscape saturated with new media, conceptual frameworks and algorithmic noise, the enduring practices of drawing, painting and sculpture offer an irreplaceable, visceral encounter with human creativity.
