DAY OF POETRY

The Woordfees’s first Day of Poetry brings together poets from South Africa, Canada and Flanders to read, discuss, and perform their work. Representatives from different generations take the stage, united in their love for language that packs a punch, words with meaning and images that linger in the mind. A day pass gives you access to all readings and discussions, and a chance to rub shoulders with poets, prophets and performers. The latest poetry collections will be available for purchase at the bookstore – make a poet’s day by asking her to sign your copy.
