Shades of Blue takes audiences on a vibrant musical journey where classical elegance meets jazzy flair. The programme features two lively works for flute and jazz trio by Claude Bolling and Mike Mower. The expressive marimba concerto by Emmanuel Séjourné is paired with a graceful clarinet sonata by Joseph Horovitz, alongside magical moments from the pen of George Gershwin.
