With Professor Elna Mouton, Helena Conradie, Doctors Lizelle Smit, Diederick Basson
Beloved Afrikaans singer, songwriter, author and speaker, Annalise Wiid, was a child of the Cape – always searching for a melody for the music in her heart. Eight years ago, at the age of 57, her voice fell silent. However, her work lives on. In November 2025, her personal archive was received by the NG Kerk Archive in Stellenbosch and in this presentation, Dr. Diederick Basson, manager of the NG Kerk Archive, brings her music and her writing together in a tribute that invites the audience to listen, remember and discover anew Annalise’s music.
