Tell your school’s stories and push boundaries. This workshop follows a session earlier this year where the basics of journalism, news and editing were covered. Now school newspaper editorial teams get the opportunity to experience the Woordfees and write reports for their school newspapers and newsletters. This session focuses on arts journalism, reviews, and how to report from the scene. Stories and reports must be written in such a way that readers who could not attend the Woordfees feel as though they are part of the experience. We also share final information about the 2026 WOW school media competition – entries close shortly after the Woordfees.
