Festival Fan
R5,000 per year
A Festival Fan is a supporter of the energy and community that the Woordfees brings to Stellenbosch through the arts. Your contribution helps ensure the sustainability of the festival and provides you with an even better experience at the festival.

Festival Friends
R8,500 per year, valid for two people
The Woordfees is a community affair where friends, family, couples, and new friends can share the experience. Share the joy with a friend or invite them to join you.

R40,000 per year, valid for two people

General Questions
Anyone who supports the Stellenbosch Woordfees in our mission to celebrate culture and community is welcome to join.
Membership is valid for the 2025 festival year and can be renewed for 2026.
Benefits such as early ticket bookings, and discount codes can be enjoyed from 20 June 2025. Printed festival guides will only be sent via courier from 26 June 2025. Woordfees Patrons receive their festival guide at the programme preview. Invitations to events will be sent closer to the respective occasions, and all event dates will be communicated to members in a timely manner.
No, membership is personal (or applicable to the two individuals in the case of the Festival Friends and Woordfees Patrons packages) and cannot be transferred to someone else.
Members receive a 20% discount on debut and selected productions in the following genres: EasyEquities Writers’ Festival, Toyota Music Festival, Spier Theatre, Dance, and Classical Music. You will receive a unique discount code to use on Quicket when booking your tickets. The code will be sent to you by 20 June 2025 and is valid until 19 October 2025. The discount code is only valid for one ticket per production with the Festival Fan package, and two tickets per production with the other packages.
Members can book tickets from 20 to 25 June 2025, a full week before the general public gets access. The Woordfees will contact you telephonically or via email to finalise your booking.
Members will receive the printed festival guide via courier from 26 June 2025. Shuttle service tickets will be available via email or on request at a collection point before the festival begins.
The VIP Lounge is an exclusive space where Woordfees Patrons and Festival Philanthropists can enjoy refreshments and relax in the company of artists, festival partners, and industry roleplayers. Access requires a special accreditation card (accreditation cards can be collected one week before the festival).
If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else. Unfortunately, invitations to events are not transferable for money. Invitations are also non-transferable.

These terms and conditions apply to all participants in the Stellenbosch Woordfees Loyalty Programme. By joining the programme, you agree to the following rules and guidelines:
General
- The loyalty programme is an annual subscription valid for the 2025 festival.
- Membership is personal and non-transferable.
- All packages are subject to availability and may be changed without notice.
Membership & Payment
- Full payment must be made at the time of subscription to a package to ensure access to benefits.
- No membership refunds will be made, except if the 2025 festival cannot take place.
Benefits
Benefits vary by package and are outlined in the respective packages.
- Discounts on tickets apply only to selected productions and are subject to availability.
- Shuttle service tickets, VIP accreditation, and invitations to events are issued on fixed dates and are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
- Delivery of festival guides are subject to the accuracy of the contact details provided.
Exclusive Events & Access
- Invitations to special events (e.g., Woordfees Long Table, VIP breakfast) are exclusive to members of the applicable packages, and attendance must be confirmed before the specified deadline.
- The Stellenbosch Woordfees reserves the right to refuse access to events or benefits if the terms are violated.
Responsibilities of Members
- Members are responsible for communicating accurately and promptly regarding their bookings and preferences in order to fully enjoy their package benefits.
- Members undertake to uphold the values of the Stellenbosch Woordfees in their participation.
Changes & Cancellations
- The Stellenbosch Woordfees reserves the exclusive right to change or cancel any part of the loyalty programme, including packages, benefits, or timelines.
- Any material changes will be communicated to members in a timely manner.
Privacy
All personal information collected will be used exclusively for communication with loyalty members and will not be sold or distributed to third parties. Members give consent for their personal information to be stored by the Stellenbosch Woordfees.
